LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has postponed its decision on this year's T20 World Cup in Australia until its annual meeting on June 10. The T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place from October 18 to November 15 this year.
The agenda for Thursday's teleconference of the ICC meeting was postponed until the June meeting, but several members of the meeting raised the point that it was necessary to run the ICC properly. Privacy comes first. It has been decided to conduct an independent inquiry headed by the ICC Ethics Officer.
It may be recalled that for the past few days, news about the postponement of the T20 World Cup had been circulating in the media, but on Wednesday, the ICC denied the news.
