QNB launches new contactless campaign for Mastercard cardholders

DOHA – QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has launched an exclusive marketing program that offers QNB Mastercard cardholders the opportunity to win valuable daily prizes whenever they make contactless transactions.

Throughout the 180 days of the campaign, every contactless local or international transaction, regardless of its value, will qualify the cardholder for a chance to win in the prize draw. The higher the number of transactions, the greater the chances of winning valuable prizes, including Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, iPhone 11 Pro Max and MacBook Air devices.

Ms. Heba Al-Tamimi, General Manager, QNB Group Retail, said: “QNB is the forerunner in introducing new payment technologies and a key influencer in the Qatar market. We support the vision of a cashless society by providing convenient, safe and secure payment solutions for our customers. The contactless payment capabilities integrated into the current QNB cards in the market are a crucial step to full payment digitization whether on mobile phones or other devices that support contactless payments.”

Nadia Ghissassi, Qatar Business Development Director, Mastercard, said: “We’re pleased to collaborate with QNB, a longstanding Mastercardpartner, to launch another initiative to bring cardholders unique rewards and benefits. Contactless technology is making everyday payments faster and easier than ever before, simplifying the process for consumers and merchants alike. With more people across MEA turning to contactless payments for safe, hygienic and fast touchless purchases, we are delighted to offer them additional benefits whenever they tap their card, phone, or smart device.”
