The main difference between the PTI government and the Allied Parties for Corruption is the priorities: Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has said in a statement issued from his office that the main difference between the present PTI government led by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Allied Parties for Corruption in the past is the priorities. The government's approach on gas infrastructure development charges, car rental power plant and IPP cases is in front of everyone. With proper and timely government action as directed by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government saved a total of Rs 1,244 billion from these three cases.

He said that previous governments had rejected mega projects of public welfare out of personal interest but Prime Minister Imran Khan did not hesitate to take difficult and unpopular decisions in the interest of the people and the country. He said that PTI has come to power not to fill its pockets, but to fill the national treasury. Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan further said that previous governments in the cycle of kickbacks and corruption had imposed additional burden of billions of rupees on the people and national exchequer and started only those mega projects which included personal interest and profit. In the past, delays in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park Sheikhupura and River Ravi Front City have been due to lack of personal gain.
