All schools will go back to regular 5 day classes from Monday March 1: Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that all schools across the country will return to normal from March 1. In a tweet on Thursday, the federal education minister said the ban on splitting classes into small groups in schools in some major cities due to the corona virus would take effect on February 28. From March 1, all schools will be open as usual. All schools in the country will return to normal 5-day classes from March 1.

In Pakistan, as in the rest of the world, all commercial and educational institutions were closed or restricted to prevent the spread of the corona virus. However, from February 1, activities were resumed in educational institutions across the country. Implementation of OPs was made mandatory in which classes were divided into small groups. From March 1, classes will return to educational institutions as usual.
