California wildfires evacuate 60,000 people

CALIFORNIA, US: Forest fires in northern and central California are still raging, with 60,000 people evacuated. The fire has spread to 350,000 acres of land while 3 people were killed, 33 injured and 2 missing in various accidents.

Forest fires are spreading rapidly in more than 300 places in California, destroying 175 buildings and endangering 50,000 more. Authorities have evacuated 60,000 people from the affected areas, while 100,000 people have been instructed to be ready for evacuation if the situation worsens.

More than 10,000 firefighters are working to contain the blaze.
