OIC Secretary-General Congratulates Saudi Leadership and People on the 90th National Day

Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, extends his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chair of the Islamic Summit, to his Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, may Allah protect them, and to the Saudi people, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 90th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Secretary-General commended the relentless efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the host country of the OIC, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the follow-up of the Crown Prince, in serving the causes of the Islamic Ummah all over the world, in line with the religious, political and economic status of the Kingdom and its constant endeavor to champion the causes of Muslims, defend Muslims in all forums and provide care for them.

The Secretary-General praised the special care the OIC receives from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which provides generous support to all OIC programs and activities, in addition to the facilities put at the disposal of the OIC to enable it to play its role in full. 

The Secretary-General affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is recording remarkable progress in all its internal programs and projects, highlighting the Kingdom’s political and economic weight at the regional and international levels and commending its ambitious vision 2030 supervised by the Crown Prince.

Al-Othaimeen concluded his statement wishing leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Islamic countries lasting security, stability and prosperity.
