ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that Pakistan has set up a Border Management Wing in the Interior Ministry. Pakistan is launching e-passport from May 1, human trafficking and illegal copying of products. And taking comprehensive measures to prevent pregnancy. He expressed these views while talking to Jeffrey Shaw, High Commissioner of Australia to Pakistan, who called on him here on Wednesday. In the meeting, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that Pakistan has set up a Border Management Wing in the Interior Ministry. Comprehensive measures are being taken to curb human trafficking and illegal transportation of products. He said that Pakistan is launching e-passport from May 1. E-passport will help a lot in preventing human trafficking. E-Visa has been launched since January 1. Cities in 191 countries are issuing visas online while Afghanistan is receiving the highest number of applications in this regard. The Australian High Commissioner said that co-operation between Pakistan and Australia was needed to curb international crime. Provide technical assistance to Pakistan to improve border management. He said that the manner in which Pakistan has controlled the spread of Corona virus is commendable. The Australian High Commissioner congratulated Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed on assuming the portfolio of Home Minister.
