Registration of players for Kashmir Premier League begins

KARACHI: (Sports Desk) Shahid Afridi, Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Sarfraz Ahmed have already become part of the league as icon players. Registration of Pakistani International and Domestic Players for KPL has started. For registration, cricketers can register themselves by visiting the official website of the league. The registration process will continue for ten days, after which the drafting process will begin. The last date for registration of cricketers is March 1.

The Kashmir Premier League will be played in Muzaffarabad from May 16 to 27. The KPL will feature Muzaffarabad Tigers, Mirpur Royals, Rawalpindi Hawks, Kotli Panthers, Bagh Stallions and Overseas Warriors.

Five Kashmiri players will be part of each team. The first phase of the Kashmir Premier League trial has been completed in which more than 150 players have been selected. In the second phase, the players will be shortlisted only through trials. The date of the trials of the second phase will be announced soon.
