1340 cases of corona virus, 36 deaths recorded in last 24 hours, National Command and Operations Center

ISLAMABAD: After Punjab, Sindh has recorded the highest number of deaths due to corona virus in the last 24 hours. There have been 36 deaths from the corona virus in the last 24 hours across the country, including 13 deaths from patients on ventilators.

According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center, 1,340 people across the country have been killed in the past 24 hours. 19 tests came positive and 36 people died from the virus, out of which 35 died in hospitals and one died at home during quarantine. So far, the number of people recovering from COD-19 across the country has reached 533,202.

In Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, no COD-19 patients are currently on ventilators, while there are 240 COD-19 patients on ventilators across the country. The number of active cases of Code-19 across the country is 24,081. The number of people infected with corona virus in the country is 569,846 out of which 9,718 in Azad Kashmir, 18,972 in Balochistan, 4,951 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 43,282 in Islamabad and 70 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are 716 patients, 166,777 in Punjab and 255,430 in Sindh. The death toll from COD-19 across the country is 12,563, of which 4,267 died in Sindh, while 8 patients died in hospitals in the last 24 hours and 1 died during quarantine at home. 5,185 deaths in Punjab while 19 patients died of the virus in hospitals in the last 24 hours.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,027 people died of the virus in hospitals in the last 24 hours, a total of 488 deaths in Islamabad, 199 deaths in Balochistan, 102 deaths in Gilgit-Baltistan and 286 deaths in Azad Kashmir. In the last 24 hours, one patient died in the hospital from the virus. 2,050 patients are being treated in hospitals.
