LAHORE: Another 34 children have been diagnosed with corona virus in Pakistan's Punjab province, while authorities in Sindh have postponed the decision to open a school for sixth- to eighth-grade students for another week.
It may be recalled that after being closed for six and a half months due to the Corona epidemic in Pakistan, it was decided to reopen the educational institutions in phases from September 15.
In the first phase, matriculation, college and university students were invited, while in the second phase, students from sixth to eighth grade were to come to school.
According to the spokesperson of Punjab Primary and Secondary Health Care, 34 children have been diagnosed with corona virus in three days after the opening of educational institutions. On the other hand, the Balochistan government has announced the closure of two schools after cases of corona virus among students came to light.
