Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi leaves for UAE

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has left for a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the light of Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision to promote bilateral relations with Muslim countries. The recent visit of the Prime Minister is a link in the development of high-level contacts between the two countries.

During the visit, the Foreign Minister met with his UAE counterpart and other leaders of the UAE to discuss bilateral relations, promotion of bilateral trade and investment, availability of employment opportunities for Pakistanis and the welfare of Pakistanis residing in the UAE. We will discuss important regional and global issues, including welfare.

A large number of Pakistanis reside in the UAE. During the visit, the Foreign Minister will also meet the Pakistani community and local and international media representatives in the UAE. The Foreign Minister is expected to visit Pakistan and the UAE. It will help further strengthen bilateral ties based on deep historical, religious and cultural foundations.
