LAHORE: (DGPR) Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar laid the foundation stone of Sheikhupura to Gujranwala two-lane road project. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar laid the foundation stone of the project at a ceremony held at the Chief Minister's Office. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that 43 km long Sheikhupura-Gujranwala two lane road would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 5.70 billion. The road will be constructed under public-private partnership. The construction of Sheikhupura-Gujranwala two-lane road will create immense ease in transportation. He said that thousands of vehicles would get the best facility of transportation daily. He said that fast and easy access from Gujranwala to Motorway M2 and Sheikhupura would be possible. The construction of the road will connect the two industrial cities. It will be easier for business people. Citizens will also get the best transportation facilities. Building a two-lane road will also save time and fuel.
