OIC Secretary-General Receives the United States Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), His Excellency Hissein Brahim Taha, received today in his office, H.E. Rashad Hussain, US Ambassador-at-large for International Religious Freedom.

Both sides underlined the importance of dialogue and partnership between the OIC and the United States of America and expressed the will to further strengthen them.

They exchanged views on issues of mutual concern including the situation in Palestine, Afghanistan, Muslim Communities and Minorities in non-OIC Member States, Islamophobia and Religious Freedom.

They agreed to strengthen dialogue and cooperation on those issues and looked forward to the upcoming strategic dialogue between the OIC and the USA, to be held in Washington, D.C.
