LAHORE: The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmad honored the closing ceremony of 6-day workshop of commercial and overseas court judges as chief. Six-day training workshop was organized by the Punjab Judicial Academy with the collaboration of Planning & Development Department and World Bank Group. The objective of the training workshop was to improve the efficiency in resolving the commercial disputes through Court Automation and the introduction of advance case management tools.
The Hon'ble Judges of Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan and Justice Amin ud Din Khan also joined the ceremony. The Hon'ble Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Muhammad Qasim Khan along with the Registrar Lahore High Court Malik Mustaq Ahmad Ojla Director General Punjab Judicial Academy Habib Ullah Amir received the Hon'ble Chief Justice Of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmad and other Hon'ble Judges of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Lahore High Court Justice Qasim Khan Thanked Planning & Development Department, World Bank Group for organizing the Six-day training Workshop. He said this training will ameliorate the professional capabilities of Judges working in the Commercial and Overseas Courts and this sort of trainings should be conducted on regular basis for Judges. He said We stand with other organs of the state to lead our citizens for creative and spontaneous social life by contributing social impulses in common welfare through their investments.He further added that availability of Justice is fundamental for flourishing the business and investment activities in the country.
The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Gulzar Ahmad inagurated Commercial and Overseas Cell. Through this cell applicants can file their complaints online.The establishment of 5 Model Commercial Courts has proved to be an excellent experience.He said ease of doing business is the hallmark of economic development of the country and the only manner wherewith ease of doing business can be obtained is by creating a dedicated, qualitative and well structured judicial process.
