PESHAWAR: First Lady Begum Samina Arif Alvi visited Pakistan Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics and Paraplegic Center. He visited different parts of the center and inquired about the facilities provided there for the disabled. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the main objective of these institutions is to save people from lifelong disability as well as to make them useful and useful citizens of the society so that they can lead a prosperous and fulfilling life. Begum Samina Arif Alvi further said that the facilities provided free of cost to persons with disabilities in institutions like Papaz and Paraplegic Centers are no less than the modern facilities of any developed country. The First Lady also distributed gifts among the boys and girls undergoing treatment in the centers done.
