Educational institutions in Sindh to be opened in phases from September 15

KARACHI: The Sindh Ministry of Education has said that all educational institutions closed due to the global epidemic Corona will be reopened between September 15 and 30. The use of masks in schools will be completely mandatory. From September 15, all higher classes, including all universities, will be open from September 9, while from September 22, classes from sixth to eighth grade will be opened.

Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that pre-primary and primary classes would be opened on September 30. The Sindh Education Minister said that if corona grows in any area, schools will be closed there and the use of masks in schools will be completely mandatory. He also said that strict action would be taken against those who did not comply with the SOPs.

On the other hand, a meeting of inter-provincial education ministers is underway under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood in which all the provincial education ministers including the chairman and executive director HEC are also present.
