This August, Discovery Channel is embarking on a journey of exploration, with a dedicated line-up to fulfil the yearning of even the most avid adventurer. From missions to solve mysterious disappearances, to remote expeditions and voyages which require creative survival skills in order to make it through the night, adventure-seekers can tune-in to a special line-up of ‘Explore Your World’ content throughout August, with shows including:  

Unexplained and Unexplored

Urban explorer, Justin Fornal, uses detailed historical maps along with high-tech imaging to investigate international mysteries of historical disappearances which have remained elusive for decades. From 1 August

Expedition Unknown

Intrigued by legendary mysteries and driven by curiosity, Josh Gates travels the globe to find answers in regard to unsolved events, lost cities, buried treasures and other puzzling stories. From 7 August  

Ed Stafford: Into the Unknown

Ed Stafford is on a mission to investigate the planet’s newest geographical mysteries. With photographs of earth from the International Space Station in-hand, Ed ventures off-the-grid, discovering a new world as he ventures across the globe. From 8 August

Jeremy Wade’s Dark Waters

A biologist with a different approach to discoveries underwater, Jeremy takes viewers to the mostremote and dangerous areas around the world to investigate unknown and mysterious aquatic creatures. From 22 August 

Legends of the Wild

Wilderness experts Damian Duffy and Matt Hoffman set off to solve some of the most incredible mysteries of the natural world, from unexplained sea creatures to deadly attacks by an airborne predator. From 28 August 

Non-stop adventure begins on 1 August with ‘Explore Your World’ special programming series, airing on weekends across the region on Discovery Channel (OSN channel 500).
