Prime Minister Imran Khan will seek a vote of confidence from the National Assembly under sub-section 7 of Article 91 of the Constitution of Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will seek a vote of confidence from the National Assembly under sub-clause 7 of Article 91 of the Constitution of Pakistan. But the President shall not exercise his powers under this provision unless he is satisfied that the Prime Minister does not have the confidence of the majority of the members of the National Assembly, in which case he shall convene a meeting of the National Assembly and Order a vote of confidence from the Assembly.

It may be recalled that the Prime Minister in his address to the nation yesterday had announced to take a vote of confidence from the National Assembly
