LAHORE: PIA has announced to resume air service between Lahore and Islamabad. The air service was suspended due to corona virus outbreak. According to the PIA spokesperson, 3 flights will be operated weekly. The first flight PK650 left Lahore for Islamabad on Friday morning. A cake was cut at Lahore Airport on resumption of flights.
Station Manager Ali Asghar Zaidi and PIA staff bade farewell to the passengers on the first flight. Initially, weekly two-way flights between Lahore and Islamabad will be operated on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
