LAHORE: Strict action has been ordered against the violation of SOPs issued for social distance in Punjab province of Pakistan. In this regard, the traffic warden has been given the authority to challan the people in the provincial capital Lahore for not wearing masks.
According to CTO Lahore, in case of not wearing a mask, a challan of Rs 300 can be issued to a car driver and Rs 200 to a motorcyclist.
According to reports, challans of some people have also been deducted on Friday.
On Friday, Lahore CTO Hamad Abid himself was informing the public about wearing a mask in Liberty Chowk.
