LAHORE: (Sports Desk) Consultations are underway with all stakeholders on the proposal to shift the scheduled Pakistan Super League matches to Karachi from March 10 in Lahore.
According to sources, the PCB officials are very worried about the four positive cases coming up despite the bio-bubble and are considering the option to continue the league by improving all the arrangements for the bio-bubble in Karachi. Instead of facing each other, all matches should be played at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Board officials are busy reviewing all the circumstances, events and thinking about how to complete the league now and whether it would be appropriate to hold matches in one place or to follow the plan already issued.
According to the pre-arranged schedule, the last PSL match is to be played on March 7 in Karachi, after which all the 14 matches including the final are scheduled in Lahore.
Following the closure of all nets at Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Ground in Lahore on the instructions of PCB officials, preparations are underway to make arrangements for the practice of the PSL teams.
