Dubai, UAE: The Ministry of Health and Prevention’s Hospitals Sector has obtained the ISO 9001-2015 from the German TUV SUD, a company specializing in management systems audit and certification in accordance with the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
A vigorous assessment was conducted by the German company’s Expert Committee to make sure that the work system and services provided by the Hospitals Sector conform to the quality standards of the latest update of the ISO.
A great asset
Congratulating the Hospitals Sector on this achievement which constitutes a great asset and underlines as well the efficiency of MoHAP’s performance and its aspirations to maintain its leading position in healthcare services, HE Dr. Youssif Al Serkal, Assistant Undersecretary for the Hospital Sector and Director-General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation stressed that the sustainable quality is the best choice toward distinctive health services in accordance the objectives of the National Agenda 2021.
Al Serkal added: “Getting this prestigious award for the 5th consecutive years reflects MoHAP’s tremendous efforts to provide its administrative and medical services in accordance with the international standards and requirements, the matter that qualifies the ministry to obtain such valuable accreditations.”
“This achievement tells that MoHAP is on the right track to strengthen the performance of its hospitals across the country and it boosts the confidence locally and globally in the health services provided by the UAE’s health facilities as per the standards of international accreditations,” he concluded.
